About the role

Oracle Data Migration Architect, Oracle Fusion Cloud and PeopleSoft at Jobgether in US. Remote, full-time, paying $200k–$225k. Posted November 3, 2026.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle Data Migration Architect, Oracle Fusion Cloud and PeopleSoft based in the United States.

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Data Migration Architect to lead a large-scale financial data transformation as an organization transitions from PeopleSoft and other legacy finance systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud. In this senior, hands-on role, you will own the architecture and end-to-end execution of complex, multi-release data conversion activities. You will oversee source-to-target mapping, business rules, data quality, migration workflows, and financial reconciliation to ensure accurate and reliable data transfers. Working alongside client finance stakeholders, systems integrators, technical consultants, and AI-powered automation teams, you will serve as the primary Oracle data authority throughout the transformation. You will also supervise AI-generated mappings and conversion outputs, ensuring they meet rigorous enterprise standards. This is an opportunity to combine deep Oracle expertise with next-generation AI technology to deliver measurable transformation outcomes in a demanding financial services environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Data Migration Architecture and Strategy: Own the end-to-end data conversion architecture across multiple releases, defining migration scope, dependencies, object sequencing, conversion plans, and mock cycle schedules in alignment with project milestones and client acceptance criteria.
  • Source-to-Target Data Mapping: Lead the mapping of PeopleSoft and other legacy financial systems into Oracle Fusion Cloud. Develop chart of accounts crosswalks, enterprise data management hierarchies, value mappings, and transformation rules. Review and validate mappings generated by AI agents before implementation.
  • Business Rules and Data Quality: Define and maintain business transformation rules, validation criteria, and data quality standards. Determine the appropriate treatment of open items, in-flight transactions, interim-state data, and reverse mapping requirements where necessary.
  • FBDI Loads and Conversion Execution: Own the use of File-Based Data Import (FBDI) and HCM Data Loader (HDL) templates where applicable. Coordinate with the systems integrator on load sequencing, environments, and error resolution. Lead end-to-end mock conversion cycles and troubleshoot migration issues using Oracle Fusion functional knowledge.
  • Financial Reconciliation and Validation: Establish reconciliation controls covering record counts, financial balances, aging, and subledger-to-general-ledger consistency. Drive reconciliation activities toward agreed acceptance criteria, including complete reconciliation for Fixed Assets and Projects. Secure business validation and formal sign-off for each migration release.
  • Client and Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the senior Oracle point of contact for client finance subject matter experts, data conversion leadership, and systems integration teams. Lead mapping reviews, exception resolution, decision-making sessions, and business sign-offs while clearly explaining accounting and data discrepancies.
  • Risk and Project Readiness Management: Identify and communicate potential risks, scope changes, and delivery challenges early. Monitor source-system access, environment readiness, stakeholder availability, and other dependencies that could affect migration timelines or quality.
  • Team and AI Agent Oversight: Provide functional guidance to offshore Oracle data conversion consultants and forward-deployed engineering teams. Supervise AI-powered extraction, transformation, and loading activities, serving as the final quality-control authority for generated mappings, transformation logic, and migration files before client delivery.
  • Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Oracle ERP, including at least three end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversion or migration projects.
  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials data structures and a strong understanding of legacy financial data conversion processes.
  • Extensive practical experience with FBDI and, where relevant, HDL templates, including data loading, troubleshooting, error resolution, and mock conversion cycles.
  • Proven experience managing financial data reconciliation, including subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation, balance validation, and collaboration with finance stakeholders.
  • Experience working alongside systems integrators on large-scale Oracle Cloud implementation and transformation programs.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with finance subject matter experts, senior executives, technical teams, and external implementation partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work in a senior, client-facing capacity and coordinate effectively with distributed and offshore teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) or Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS).
  • Previous experience in financial services, banking, investment management, or asset management environments.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Time and Labor or contingent worker data.
  • Experience working with artificial intelligence, robotic process automation (RPA), or automated data conversion platforms.
  • Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or Oracle Cloud Implementation.
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive annual compensation ranging from $200,000 to $225,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Flexible engagement options, including full-time employment or an initial fixed-term contract of 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension.
  • Remote working arrangement within the United States, with preference for candidates based on the East Coast.
  • Opportunity to work on a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation within the financial services sector.
  • Exposure to advanced AI-powered automation and next-generation enterprise data migration technologies.
  • Collaboration with experienced Oracle specialists, forward-deployed engineers, and enterprise transformation professionals.
  • Significant technical ownership and influence over critical migration architecture and delivery decisions.
  • Opportunity to contribute to innovative approaches that improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of enterprise ERP transformations.
