About the role

People & Talent Business Partner at Jobgether in US. Remote, full-time. Posted November 5, 2026.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People & Talent Business Partner based in the United States.

As a People & Talent Business Partner, you will help shape a high-performance culture and strengthen leadership capabilities within a globally distributed technology organisation. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with leaders and employees across international teams, with a particular focus on Germany and France. You will play a central role in navigating organisational change, improving performance management, and building the talent capabilities needed for continued growth. Combining strategic HR business partnering with hands-on recruitment and people operations, you will help leaders make sound decisions and create an environment where accountability and continuous improvement thrive. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership, influence organisational development, and contribute to a mission centred on data privacy and digital sovereignty.

Accountabilities

You will work closely with leadership and employees to strengthen people practices, support organisational transformation, and attract and retain the talent required to achieve business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Partner with leaders across Europe and other global teams, providing practical, commercially informed advice on people management, performance, and organisational matters.

    • Strengthen performance management practices and help managers establish clear expectations, reinforce accountability, address underperformance, and support continuous improvement.

    • Guide leaders and employees through organisational change, transformation, consultation processes, and employee transitions.

    • Support difficult people decisions and conversations, helping teams navigate uncertainty while maintaining clarity, resilience, and focus on business outcomes.

    • Manage employee relations and employment compliance, taking ownership of German employment law matters and coordinating with local specialists for France and other regions when needed.

    • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition across the organisation, including proactive sourcing, candidate assessment, and recruitment for critical positions, particularly in engineering and product.

    • Improve people operations, onboarding processes, and the overall employee experience to support a high-performing, globally distributed workforce.

    • Contribute to workforce planning and identify the people capabilities required to support organisational priorities and future growth.

    • Help leaders develop their teams, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and maintain high performance standards across the organisation.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong HR business partnering expertise with practical employment law knowledge, talent acquisition experience, and the ability to guide teams through change. You should be confident working independently, exercising sound judgement, and delivering measurable outcomes in an international environment. Key qualifications include:

      • At least 6 years of experience in HR business partnering, people operations, or a comparable role, ideally within a technology company or international organisation.

      • Strong practical knowledge of German employment law, including employee relations, performance management, organisational change, and employment processes.

      • Demonstrated experience advising and supporting leaders through uncertainty, organisational transformation, and challenging people-related decisions.

      • A strong understanding of high-performance cultures and proven ability to help managers reinforce accountability, address underperformance, and develop their teams.

      • Hands-on talent acquisition experience, including direct sourcing, candidate assessment, and end-to-end recruitment.

      • Professional working proficiency in German and strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively across global and asynchronous teams.

      • A track record of taking ownership, applying sound judgement, and delivering meaningful, measurable results.

      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at different levels.

      • Helpful additional experience:

        • Knowledge of French employment law and familiarity with supporting employees in France.

        • French language skills.

        • Experience recruiting technical talent, particularly software engineers and product engineers.

        • Background in SaaS, high-growth technology companies, or globally distributed and remote-first organisations.

        • Candidates do not need to meet every additional criterion, but should demonstrate strong capability across the core requirements and a clear record of creating meaningful impact.

          Benefits

          • Annual gross salary of €70,000–€72,000.

          • 100% remote working within the country of employment.

          • Flexible working hours, subject to collaboration and coverage requirements.

          • 30 days of paid annual leave.

          • Home-office equipment allowance.

          • Health insurance support, where applicable.

          • Mental health and well-being support.

          • One paid volunteering day.

          • Pet bereavement leave.

          • Protected focus time through no-meeting Fridays.

          • No more than two days per week with late meetings.

          • No meetings after 10 p.m. in any time zone.

          • Freedom to organise work location and schedule within the needs of the role.

          • An inclusive, globally distributed working environment with opportunities to influence meaningful organisational and product decisions.
