This is an opportunity for a senior backend developer to contribute to the design and delivery of complex, scalable technology solutions in a remote-first environment. You will play an important role in shaping product direction, making technical decisions, and building high-performance backend applications using .NET. The position combines hands-on engineering with architectural contributions, API design, and a strong focus on software quality and security. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, influence development practices, and help improve system architecture and delivery processes. As a technical reference within the team, you will also mentor less experienced developers and promote knowledge sharing. Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape product vision and contribute to strategic technical decisions.

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable backend functionalities using .NET.

• Ensure the quality and maintainability of software deliveries through code reviews, refactoring, and resolution of code conflicts.

• Design and implement robust, secure APIs, considering integrations with multiple systems, versioning strategies, and security best practices.

• Diagnose and resolve critical issues affecting CI/CD pipelines to maintain reliable software delivery.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers, encouraging knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.

• Promote continuous improvement across software architecture, development processes, and engineering standards.

• Contribute to the evolution of microservices architecture and the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience in backend development with .NET, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures, particularly for optimizing software systems.

• Experience defining Git versioning strategies and resolving complex merge conflicts.

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot critical CI/CD pipeline issues.

• Proven ability to design scalable and secure APIs, following OWASP security guidelines.

• Practical understanding of microservices architecture principles.

• Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and attention to code quality.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical decisions clearly.

Additional skills that would be an advantage:

• Practical experience using AI-powered development tools such as Devin, GitHub Copilot, and Claude in daily engineering activities.

• Previous involvement in product co-creation with multidisciplinary teams.

• Advanced knowledge of deployment strategies, including blue-green and canary deployments.

• Familiarity with integrations involving multiple external systems and federated authentication.
