Pre-Press Graphic Artist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pre-Press Graphic Artist based in Brazil.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Pre-Press Graphic Artist to support the production of high-quality graphic materials for a leading North American promotional products distributor. In this role, you will transform creative concepts and design assets into polished, production-ready artwork. You will work extensively with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, to create proofs, mockups, and print-ready files. Your work will ensure visual consistency, technical accuracy, and high production standards across multiple projects. You will manage a fast-paced workflow, balancing competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Accountabilities

• Create proofs, mockups, layouts, and graphic artwork for marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator.

• Prepare, format, resize, and optimize artwork files for professional printing and production.

• Set up pre-press files, ensuring that logos, graphics, typography, and colors meet technical printing specifications.

• Adapt artwork for different production methods, including digital, silkscreen, and offset printing.

• Review and quality-check all designs and production files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.

• Manage multiple design requests simultaneously, maintaining an efficient workflow and meeting daily productivity targets.

• Prioritize incoming assignments, complete tasks accurately, and move efficiently between projects in a high-volume production environment.

• Collaborate with team members and managers to clarify requirements, coordinate deliverables, and ensure timely project execution.

• Proofread and edit copy when necessary, identifying errors and maintaining professional presentation standards.

• Maintain organized production files and follow established design and pre-press procedures.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, production art, or a related field.

• Associate degree or higher preferred, ideally in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with strong experience working in a PC environment.

• Practical experience creating layouts, resizing and formatting artwork, and preparing logos for digital and silkscreen printing.

• Strong understanding of typography, color management, visual composition, and graphic design principles.

• Knowledge of pre-press processes and production-ready artwork preparation.

• Familiarity with different printing techniques, particularly digital, silkscreen, and offset printing, is a strong advantage.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and production artwork skills for print and/or digital applications.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify design inconsistencies and technical errors.

• Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows, handle multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to estimate task completion times and maintain daily productivity goals.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, including copy proofreading and editing.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.

• Adaptability, initiative, and a methodical approach to working in a fast-paced production environment.

Benefits:

• Salary: USD 6.50–7.00 per hour (approximately BRL 35.43–38.15, as indicated in the original posting).
