About the role
Product Designer at Achievers in Toronto. Hybrid, full-time, paying $100k–$120k. Posted October 27, 2026.
Achievers is an employee recognition and engagement platform, and our mission is to Change the Way the World Works. We help companies celebrate great work, build stronger cultures, and make sure people feel valued. Every day, our platform powers millions of recognition moments for global, multi-generational workforces.
As a Product Designer in our Member Experience domain, you will be the full-time designer for our Campaigns and Recognition teams, working alongside the Product Managers and engineers on each. You will design the experiences people use to recognize one another and the experiences our customers use to run campaigns, from the first question about the problem through to shipped work and what we learn from it. The work spans web and mobile and is built on our design system. You will work within an agile team, take on well-defined design work, bring your own ideas to how it gets solved, and grow your skills with support from the senior designers on the team. Learn more about our platform: https://www.achievers.com/platform/Why you`ll love this role:
- Your work will change how millions of people feel about their jobs: Change the Way the World Works is the mission, and this product is one of the places you can watch it happen.
- Work in a true product triad with a Product Manager and a Lead Engineer, sharing direction and delivery rather than handing off specs.
- Be part of a collaborative Design Guild, where designers learn from one another, share ideas, and get mentorship from more experienced team members.
- You will have room to grow, taking on bigger challenges, expanding your influence, and shaping your path as both the product and design practice evolve.
- Join a team that values empathy, ownership, and high standards, and gives you room to make decisions that matter.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where innovation is encouraged and your voice truly matters.
How you'll shape our Campaigns & Recognition experiences:
- Design the experiences for Campaigns & Recognition across web and mobile.
- Collaborate with the Product Managers and two Engineering teams on user stories.
- Plan and run user research and usability testing with a senior designer or our UX researcher, then analyze what you find and bring conclusions the team can act on.
- Facilitate team discussions that include the right people and guide them to a decision.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interface content.
- Work in the design system and follow the component lifecycle with the senior designers.
- Apply accessibility and inclusive design practices in your work, and keep building that knowledge.
- Use analytics to see where the work is missing its KPIs and suggest improvements.
Experience we feel will set you up for success:
- 2+ years of hands-on product design experience within a professional product team, across responsive web and mobile.
- Professional experience working with design systems and shipping end-to-end product experiences in a collaborative, multi-designer environment.
- Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing, including planning and conducting research with guidance and applying insights to iterate on designs.
- Comfort engaging with and presenting design work to internal and external stakeholders, asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and incorporating feedback.
- A strong eye for visual design and attention to detail. Experience with accessibility and inclusive design is highly valued, or at minimum, a demonstrated interest and eagerness to grow your expertise in this area.
- Professional experience with Figma, prototyping tools, and user testing methods and frameworks.
- Experience applying user-centered, interaction, and mobile-first design principles.
- Ability to interpret product analytics and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating product design projects, process, problem-solving, and iteration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
- A genuine eagerness to learn, grow as a product designer, and champion the needs of the user.
- Knowledge of Lean/Agile ways of working and how UX contributes within an Agile product team.
- B2B SaaS experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a bonus.
