About the role

Senior Manager, Revenue Operations at Cognite - AI for Industry in USA (Houston). Posted October 26, 2026.

What Cognite is: Relentless to achieve

Cognite operates at the forefront of industrial digitalization, building AI, and data solutions that solve the world’s hardest, highest-impact problems. With unmatched industrial heritage and a comprehensive suite of AI capabilities, including low-code AI agents, Cognite accelerates the digital transformation to drive operational improvements.

We thrive in challenges. We challenge assumptions. We execute with speed and ownership. If you view obstacles as signals to step forward - not backwards - you’ll feel right at home here.

Our Moonshot is bold: Unlock $100B in customer value by 2035, and redefine how global industry works. Join us in this venture where AI and data meet ingenuity, and together, we will forge the path to a smarter, more connected industrial future.

How you’ll demonstrate Ownership

You own how Cognite manages revenue performance. Every quarter, our leaders need to know where we will land, why, and what to do about it. You run the process that answers those questions, from the global forecast to quarterly business reviews and operating reviews with theater leadership.

The theaters execute. You make the system around them better. You set the forecast methodology every theater follows, own the policies that define what counts as a booking or a churn, and make sure every review ends with clear actions and owners. Then you follow up on whether those actions improved results.

You rely on trusted data more than anyone, so you also own data integrity. You drive our revenue data models and connect them to how other commercial teams measure their work, so we understand the complete customer journey.

This is a high-visibility seat. You will work with theater Presidents, front-line managers, and leadership across Sales, Marketing, Value Delivery, and Finance.

The Impact you bring to Cognite
  • Run the global forecast. Own the forecast methodology and process. Work with each theater on how they forecast bookings, new logo acquisition, expansion, and at-risk churn. Call the roll-up number with evidence and flag risks early.
  • Make reviews drive results. Design and run QBRs and quarterly operating reviews. Decide what each review must answer, bring the analysis, and follow actions through to results.
  • Own the policies that define performance. Set and maintain the bookings policy, churn policy, and pipeline hygiene standards. Resolve edge cases and enforce the rules consistently across theaters.
  • Find where performance is leaking. Analyze win rates, slippage, cycle time, and conversion. Bring a point of view on what to change and work with the process owners to change it.
  • Connect the customer journey through data. Drive our revenue data models and align them with how Marketing, Value Delivery, and Finance measure their work, so every team sees the same picture from first touch to expansion.
How we measure success
  • Forecast accuracy by theater across the quarter
  • Lower slip rate on committed deals
  • Win rate and sales cycle improving quarter over quarter
  • Actions from QBRs and operating reviews closed and showing results
  • Commercial teams using shared definitions and data to run their business

What we are looking for

  • 2-3 years at a top-tier consulting firm, or equivalent experience at a high-growth tech or industrial company
  • Systems thinking. You see how a change in one process affects five others
  • Cross-functional presence. You can align Revenue, Finance, and Marketing without managing their teams
  • Comfort with data. You turn a vague process problem into something measurable and sized
  • A habit of asking why a process exists and finding the evidence for a better one
  • Ability to turn messy inputs into a clear, decision-ready point of view under time pressure
  • Skill at turning ambiguous questions into reusable definitions that people and AI tools can both use
  • Interest in learning Salesforce, Gainsight, Clari, and Vasco, and in working with AI tools
  • Exposure to enterprise software, energy, or manufacturing is a plus
