Software Engineer - Full Stack & AI Agents

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer – Full Stack & AI Agents based in Brazil

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build scalable enterprise applications and develop innovative AI-powered solutions. In this role, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from backend architecture and frontend development to production deployment. You will also design and integrate intelligent AI agents that extend the capabilities of existing enterprise platforms. AI will be central to both the products you develop and your everyday engineering workflow, including coding, testing, debugging, and automation. Working alongside international engineering, product, and quality teams, you will help shape modern software development practices. This is an exciting opportunity to combine full-stack engineering expertise with emerging agentic AI technologies while building solutions used by businesses worldwide.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance SaaS applications across the full technology stack.

• Build robust backend services, REST APIs, intuitive user interfaces, and efficient data models.

• Take ownership of software features throughout their entire lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing and production deployment.

• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code following established engineering standards.

• Develop intelligent AI agents that extend the functionality and capabilities of existing enterprise applications.

• Integrate AI agents into shared platforms using appropriate frameworks, SDKs, and established integration patterns.

• Build secure and structured interactions between AI agents and application services.

• Implement agent registration, configuration, and tenant-specific deployment capabilities.

• Collaborate with platform engineering teams to improve system integration, extensibility, and overall architecture.

• Leverage AI coding assistants and autonomous development agents, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools, to accelerate software development.

• Use AI-powered tools for debugging, refactoring, automated testing, code generation, and technical documentation.

• Provide clear instructions, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria to autonomous or semi-autonomous coding agents.

• Review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code, ensuring its correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Experiment with emerging AI development technologies and share effective practices with the engineering team.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues using application logs, monitoring solutions, and AI-assisted diagnostic tools.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Quality Engineers, and Software Engineers on technical designs and architectural decisions.

• Participate in code reviews, automated build and deployment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Share technical knowledge and support the professional development of less experienced engineers.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, developing and delivering production-grade applications.

• Strong backend development expertise, preferably using C# and .NET, or another mainstream backend technology.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.

• Proven experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs and backend services.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and modern application deployment practices.

• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development workflows.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Practical experience using AI coding assistants as part of your regular software development workflow.

• Ability to guide AI coding agents through clear instructions, technical specifications, and well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Experience reviewing, validating, debugging, and improving AI-generated code.

• Understanding of AI agents, their architecture, integration patterns, and interactions with software applications.

• Familiarity with plugin architectures, extensibility frameworks, or SDK-based integrations is an advantage.

• Strong interest in applying AI technologies to improve software quality, development speed, testing efficiency, and engineering productivity.

• Ability to balance development speed with code quality, security, and long-term maintainability.

• Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with curiosity and a willingness to explore emerging technologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to manage responsibilities from initial concept through production delivery.
